Delicious Summertime Bar-B Q

Sauce Ingredients:
4 tablespoon catsup
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon worcestershire
2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon mustard
2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
some black pepper & red hot sauce
Chicken

Instructions:
Combine sauce ingredients and mix them to create the sauce. Dip each piece in sauce. Cook in a dish or pan covered with aluminum foil for about 2 1/2 hrs at 350 degrees.

Immunity Broth

4 cups of organic vegetable broth
4-6 ounces of organic cooking greens
(a mixture of chard, collard greens, mustard greens, kale, spinach. Etc.)
2 shallots and/or garlic cloves, chopped
2 carrots, sliced

Instructions:
Bring the shallots,carrots, garlic, & broth to a low boil for 5 minutes. Stir in organic cooking greens. Stir for 2 minutes, cover and remove from heat. After 10 minutes, drink a cup of the warm, nurturing broth then serve the vegetables over rice, noodles, or anything else. (prep time: 15 minutes). Optional additions: sliced shitake mushrooms, chicken, tofu, seitan.

Deliciosa Barbacoa para el Verano

Ingredientes:
Salsa:
4 cucharadas de salsa de tomate
2 cucharadas vinagre
1 cucharada de jugo de limón
2 cucharadas worcestershire
2 cucharadas de mantequilla
2 cucharadas de azúcar morena
1 cucharada de azúcar blanca
1 cucharadita de mostaza
2 cucharaditas de paprika
1/2 cucharadita de chile en polvo un poco de pimienta negra y salsa picante roja
Pollo

Instrucciones:
Mezcle los ingredientes para la salsa hasta crear la salsa. Agregue cada pedazo de pollo entre la salsa. Hornee usando un recipiente cubierto con papel aluminio por 2 horas y media a 350 grados. www.soulfoodCookbook.com

Caldo para la Inmunidad

4 tazas de caldo vegetal orgánico
4-6 onzas de vegetales orgánicos (Una mezcla de acelga, coles rizadas, mostaza, espinaca, etc.)
2 cebollines y/o dientes de ajo picados
2 zanahorias en rodajas Coloque los cebollines, las zanahorias, el ajo y el caldo en una olla y caliente hasta hervir por 5 minutos. Agregue los vegetales orgánicos. Revuelva por 2 minutos, Tape la olla y retire de la estufa. Después de 10 minutos, beba una taza de caldo caliente y nutritivo y sirva los vegetales sobre arroz, fideos o algo más. (Preparación: 15 minutos). Opciones para agregar: hongos shitakes rodajeados, pollo, tofu.
