I am writing you this letter at a time when you
are unable to read or write, but you are a magnificent scribbler. I have never
witnessed such amazing talent. When you scribbled in black ink on my brand new
mattress, it was the beginning of your art work. Besides scribbling up your
legs, you put a magical black permanent marker design on my dinning room
chairs. How creative you are. I mean, you even thought to scribble under the
dining room table. Well, you are a hard working 3 year old. Junior, I love
reading to you. The circles you have drawn on the pages of your books only
enhance the illustrations. Thank you for sparing the walls!
Sweetie, I want you to know that you are my heart.
So what if you put pin holes in my end tables or rip the fabric on the
furniture, not a problem. After all, they are only material things. The most
important thing you do is provide love and the security of knowing you are a
remarkable being destined for a remarkable future. Your contagious laugh
carries me from one day to the next. My eyes are swelling with tears because I
have unconditional love for you and your little hugs. Between God's rainbows
and your smile, my spirit is lifted.
You are definitley my valentine 365 days a
year.

Network Says Goodbuy to a Dear Friend

Ralph Neubeck lost his battle with cancer on
December 17, at age 63. The husband of our Executive Director, Trina Forest,
Ralph was a hard working and dedicated volunteer. Whether Ralph was cracking
corney jokes while folding the newsletter or risking back injury to move
furniture, BABES Network could always counton him.
Education was a passions of Ralph's. He last
taught at Franklin High School where he motivated his students to volunteer.
Some of which offered their time to BABES Network. Another of Ralph's passions
was baseball. It was his air. With his vast knowledge of baseball, Ralph could
spark the interest of even non-sport fans.
Ralph's love and passion for life will always be
remembered.

Estoy escribiéndote
esta carta cuando tú no puedes leer ni escribir, pero sí eres
magnífico para hacer garabatos. Yo nunca había sido testigo de
tan maravilloso talento. Cuando garabateaste con tinta negra sobre mi nuevo
colchón, ése fue el principio de tu trabajo artístico.
Además de garabatear sobre tus piernas, pusiste un mágico
diseño con marcador negro permanente sobre mis sillas del comedor.
¡Qué creativo eres! Quiero decir, que hasta pensaste en garabatear
debajo de la mesa del comedor. Bueno, tú eres un gran trabajador de 3
años de edad. Junior, me encanta leer contigo. Los círculos que
dibujas en las páginas de los libros solamente resaltan las
ilustraciones. ¡Gracias por no rayar las paredes!
Mi amado, quiero que sepas
que eres mi corazón. Así que, si pones tachuelas al final de la
mesa o si rompes la tela de los muebles, no hay problema. Después de
todo, ésas son sólo cosas materiales. La cosa más
importante que haces es brindar amor y la seguridad de saber que eres un ser
extraordinario destinado para un futuro extraordinario. Tu risa contagiosa me
lleva de un día al siguiente. Mis ojos están llenos de
lágrimas porque tengo un amor incondicional para ti y tus abracitos.
Entre el arco iris de Dios y tu sonrisa, mi espíritu se mantiene
elevado.

La Red
de las BABES le dice adios a un querido amigo

Ralph Neubeck perdió
su batalla con el cáncer el 17 de diciembre, a la edad de 63
años. El esposo de nuestra Directora Ejecutiva Trina Forest, Ralph fue
un voluntario que trabajó con mucha dedicación. Ya fuera que
Ralph estuviera bromeando mientras doblaba nuestro boletín o arriesgando
su espalda para mover muebles, la Red de las BABES siempre podía contar
con él.
La educación fue la
pasión de Ralph. El enseñó en Franklin High School donde
motivó a sus estudiantes para ser voluntarios. Algunos de ellos
ofrecieron su tiempo a la Red de las BABES. La otra pasión de Ralph fue
el béisbol. Con su vasto conocimiento sobre béisbol, Ralph
podía despertar el interés en aquellos que ni eran aficionados a
los deportes.
El amor y la pasion de Ralph
por la vida seran siempre recordados.
