Hard Times
Babes network had to make some painful cuts this
onth. Challenging economic times for the agency have made it necessary to
reduce our operating expenses. As a result we have had to lay off two of our
staff members. We are sad to say goodbuy to Thanya Wongvanich, Consumer-Family
Advocate, Co-Newsletter Editor and Helen Underwood, Computer
Specialists/VOlunteer/Event Co-ordinator. Thanya has been a part of the BABES
staff for 2 years. Helen has been with us since spring of 2003. We will miss
their special contributions to the community of Babes.
Throgh paiful, these changes are part of an
overall plan to strengthen the agency and move forward into the future.
Michele, Danita, Shelly and Trina will be working hard to maintian our high
quality services - YOU are our number one priority. If you have any questions,

Tiempos
dificiles
La BABES Network ha tenido que enfrentarse
con una decisión muy dolorosa este mes. Por causa de la diflcil
situación económica de la organización, la BABES Network
se ha visto obligada a reducir los gastos de operación. Hemos tenido que
despedir a dos miembros del personal. Somos muy tristes de tener que decir
adiós a Thanya Wongvanich y a Helen Underwood. Thanya, ha sido consejera
y se unio al personal de la organización hace 2 años. Helen ha
sido especialista técnica y organizadora de eventos y voluntarios, Ella
se unió al equipo en lka primavera de 2003. Echaremos de menos sus
contribuciones especiales a nuestra comunidad.
Aunque estos cambios son dolorosos, forman
parte del plan para foralecer la organización y permitirnos mirar hacia
el futuro. Michele, Danita, Shelley, y Trina trabajarán para continuar a
ofrecer nuestras servicios de calidad. TU eres nuestras prioridad número
