The Invisible
Hand by Shelley
Where do us HIV+ people go to find comfort for
our pain?
What church do we migrate to where we are not
made to feel ashamed?
Will the ignorance of this world prevent us
from worshiping our God
So secretly we attend our place of worship.
Arriving late and leaving early so to avoid a
lethal hug or handshake.
We hid in our darkness as the prayer requests ring
out.
Do I dare say I need Prayer! They may think
something is wrong with me.
I raise my invisible hand to my invisible God.
Oh God, you got to help me! Place your healing
hand on me, I pray.
I feel a surge of strength in my soul as I
leave my place of worship.
My God knows my secret, my dilemma. He knows
yours too.
The Most Beatuiful
Love by Danita
I have the most beautiful love imaginable. As
I write my eyes swell up with tears. He is often a fiesty little creature
and surely an angel in disguise. Unfortunately, he wears the naughty
boy label. My shorty likes to holler and tumble and bounce, making this
first time mom's heart full of fears.
Oh, what a joker he is with his fancy laugh.
He likes to be tickled and he loves to be surprised. Jr. has a great
disposition, and it doesn't hurt to have beautiful features. Some say
he is a handful and it's very true. And so what, he's my sugar pie. I
give my all for the apple of my eye.
I HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVE IMAGINABLE!
I will say it loud, so that the whole world will
know. And yes, he may color his room all blue. Buy my guy loves me
unconditionally and I him, with every fiber of my soul, and each and every
ounce. So I boast because I am proud. I have the most beautiful love
imaginable and when I talk about him, it shows.
