activist Mary Fisher became known to many Americans at the 1992 Republican
National Convention, during which she told attendees she was HIV-positive.
Fisher has been active in the campaign to battle HIV/AIDS and participated in
events to mark International Womens Day in Washington,
D.C., on March 8. Kaiser Family Foundation vice president Jackie Judd
interviews Fisher.
